No new kitchen cabinet hinges often use the same hole pattern than the previous?

Possible replacement of kitchen cabinet hinges and wondered if the hole patterns are standardized or essentially would have to drill new holes for the hinges and the center and the level of the doors?

Depending on your cabinets. Consult a carpenter or a center for home improvement. Roxanne

The best thing to do is drill new holes for the hinges. Because you could be using the screws that might not be the same side and could cause the hinges to avoid becoming tight enough to secure the cabinets.

What type of hinges? Basically, there are only two types of cabinet hinges, hinge wrap and a hidden hinge. The coat is the one that wraps around the edge of the door and is screwed to the side of the door. The hidden falls into a hole drilled 32MM in the back of the hole puerta.El 32MM could be done with a 1 3 / 8 “Forstner bit. In concealed hinges there is no such thing as any other size. Hinges are ugly and Wrap outdated and could be more difficult to instalar.Así that if you want to go to wrap and hide then you have to make holes. They are drilled about 4 “from the top and bottom and about one-eighth of an inch at the edge of the hinge.
