I have horrible blue doors kitchen cabinet that I would like to repaint. I bought some off-white kitchen cabinet restoration paint, but when it dries, it peels off with ease – any little hit to make it look terrible. The original closet doors are covered with a kind of plastic film which is intended to look like wood painted. Could lightly sanded to provide a key to do the trick, or am I wasting time?

yes I would, but take them to the IDE port (and outside) of sand with a power sander, then paint with a good undercoat, before making the pintura.Yo I did and it worked fine for me (I had the same problem)
